Joanne joined MindWorks in April 2001 as a Rehabilitation Assistant. She received her Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies from Brock University in 1993. Jo completed a post-graduate diploma in Therapeutic Recreation at Georgian College in 1998. She has completed several OBIA Courses.

She has had the opportunity to work in many community settings; schools, hospitals and homes. Jo takes a great deal of pride in her ability to work well with clients, fostering as much independence as possible and advocating for the clients personal rehabilitation goals.

In her spare time she enjoys camping, hiking and canoeing with her family. She has recently joined a book club and enjoys finding new community events and fundraisers to attend with her two children.
